Jo Marie Rose, a widow, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her purchase of a bed-and-breakfast in Cedar Cove, Washington. Former guests (us, the audience) join her as she reminisces about her early days as owner.. Her first guests, Josh Weaver and Abby Kincaid, were in their early 30s. Neither eager to return to the home town, family has brought them back- Josh to care for an ailing stepfather, and Abby for her brother’s wedding. The couples lead us in their stories —then and now.
